Dr Pravin Kini, specialised in human reproductive medicine and was a Co-Founder of a chain of IVF clinics across India and the Middle-East in partnership with the UK brand Bourn Hall Clinic. This clinic is widely recognised for being the birthplace of IVF whose founder, Prof Robert Edwards was awarded Nobel Prize in Medicine in 2010 for pioneering this critical technology.
Dr Kini then served as CEO (India) and ran the Bourn Hall Clinics there for 5 years before exiting. Honouring a non-compete clause he then shifted his focus to animal species. To this end, Dr Kini has combined the rigours of human medicine with genomics and assisted reproduction technologies to create a revolutionary species-agnostic animal breeding platform, known today as the In Vitro Breeding Platform (IVBP) which is at the heart of Tropical Animal Genetics (TAG).
Dr. Kini is also a serial entrepreneur having founded and invested in several successful IT and healthcare companies.
