OUR STORY

India is known as the ‘Oyster’ of the global dairy industry. Over the span of three decades, it has transformed from being a country with acute milk shortage to the world’s leading milk producer.

However, in the recent years the growth has slumped, and the slowdown is attributed to lack of value-added or innovative products, and an effort to support and modernize the sector. The result is:
  • Low productivity and lack of sustainable options in the dairy sector.
  • An uneven ratio of male and female animals, which causes increased number of stray cattle.
  • An unaware farmer bearing the standing cost of animals required for breeding purpose.

The need of the hour is to revamp the dairy industry using technological advancements and genetic improvement techniques that will increase the milk yield, and profit the farmers.
TAG has taken up the responsibility to contribute to the dairy industry through its biotechnological innovations.

The company was established in 2014, with the purpose to utilize Science and Innovation to preserve superior genetics, help farmers broaden their avenues of income, and provide the world with cost effective protein diet, attained through conventional methods, instead of vaccines. We are the first Indian company to use In Vitro Fertilization – Embryo Transfer (IVF-ET) technology on an industrial scale.

We are associated with TransOva Genetics a globally renowned company offering industry leading biotechnologies, the National Dairy Development Board (NDDB) created by the Indian Government to support and strengthen farmer cooperatives, and National Center for Biological Sciences (NCBS) the deemed research center specializing in biological research.

OUR INITIATIVES

The intention of helping dairy farmers in India has instilled an ambition in us. Our plan is to create a new breed of farmers ‘BREEDER FARMERS’ who will make cows from IVF-ET technology.

TAG is also working on a rural entrepreneurship program that will create jobs by providing business and technical training in rural and semi-urban areas.
